Biography |
Peter is a Co-founder and Senior Vice President for eBags, Inc. During his tenure he has been responsible for marketing efforts including online and offline advertising, public relations, and the affiliate program. Peter also heads up the company’s Global Technology Services efforts involving building and managing e-commerce websites for global brands such as Tumi.com. eBags.com launched March 1999 and has over 19,000 products and 330 top brands ranging from Kate Spade to Samsonite to JanSport. Since inception, the company has experienced sales growth of over 40% per year and has sold over 4.6 million bags. eBags has been cash flow profitable the last three years. In addition, eBags built and manages the global e-commerce initiative for TUMI.com, a prestige luggage and briefcase company. eBags also runs 6pm.com, an online retail site featuring over 250 brands of shoes, bags and accessories. In seven years, eBags.com has built a database of 2.3 million members and was named “Website of the Year” four of the last six years by Multichannel Merchant magazine. In addition, eBags was named Email Marketer of the Year as recognition of its successful email marketing program. Peter was named 2003 Colorado Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association. He was formerly responsible for marketing at Samsonite and received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Graduate Management. |
