Biography

Monica Luechtefeld is Office Depot’s Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and Information Technology. In her role, Luechtefeld oversees Office Depot’s global IT systems, applications, and infrastructure as well as the company’s global supply chain and inventory systems.
Luechtefeld has been with Office Depot for over 13 years, and has over 25 years in the office products industry. Prior to her current role, she was EVP of Business Development responsible for the company’s worldwide mergers and acquisitions. Luechtefeld also served as EVP of Global E-Commerce during which she led Office Depot's pioneering programs in electronic commerce. Office Depot’s award-winning corporate Web site has received numerous accolades since its initial launch for its inventive use of the Internet, both as a sales and business tool.

Luechtefeld is also committed to lending her expertise to the office supply industry as well the community in which she lives and works. She serves on the Department of Homeland Security’s Private Sector Senior Advisory Committee. She is a member of Florida International University’s Business Advisory Board, the Forrester Board of Clients, and a trustee of Mount St. Mary’s College.
