This panel will provide an inside investor's view of the status of the eCommerce and multi-channel marketplace. Moderated by CEO and Co-Founder of Bazaarvoice Brett Hurt, this panel will address such questions as: What do financial markets/investors think are the most valuable eCommerce/multi-channel businesses, and why? How do financial investors compare investing in this industry vs. other internet/consumer industries? What is a company worth to an investor? How can management make it be worth more? What do investors look for when they commit capital? -- among others. |

Marc is the CEO of the European Founders Fund, one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe. He and his brothers Oliver and Alexander invest in Internet companies across Europe, the United States and China. Prior to the European Founders Fund, Marc and his brothers had created JAMBA! / JAMSTER, the global leader in entertainment products for cell phones (ringtones, music, games, video) which was acquired by VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN) in June 2004. Previously, Marc and his brothers had founded Alando which was acquired by eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) in June 1999. Marc and his brothers became CEOs of eBay Germany which is eBay's most successful international marketplace. In 2003, Marc was awarded the distinguished Eisenhower Fellowship (Multi-Nation program). |
